Account management
Your Parallect account holds your research, billing context, and preferences. This page covers password reset for email sign-in, account deletion when you need to leave permanently, and support chat when you want help from the team.
Forgot password and reset link
If you sign in with email and password and forget your password, use the Forgot password flow:
- On the forgot password page, enter the email tied to your account.
- Submit the form; Parallect sends a reset link to that inbox.
- If you need another email, wait a moment before submitting again.
Setting a new password
Open the link from the email to reach the reset password page, then choose a new password and save. After that, sign in with the updated credentials.
Google OAuth sign-in does not use a Parallect password. Password reset applies to email/password accounts only; Google users manage access through their Google account.
Account deletion
To remove your account entirely, go to Settings > Profile and find Danger zone. Account deletion permanently deletes your account -- it is not a temporary pause.
After you confirm, you'll be redirected to a confirmation page so it's clear the process finished.
Deletion is irreversible. You will lose access to associated data according to Parallect's retention policies. Export anything you must keep before you delete.
Support chat
Support chat is available from the sidebar on the dashboard. Open it to show a chat panel where you can message the support team, ask product questions, or get unstuck on billing or technical issues.
AI Memory
AI Memory lets Parallect learn your preferences, domain knowledge, and research style over time. Access it from Settings > AI Memory.
Memory is organized into three types:

You can:
- Browse all memories or filter by type
- Add new memories manually with a type and content
- Edit or delete individual memories
- Learn from activity -- Parallect can learn from your past research activity
AI Memory is optional. It improves personalization in Thread Chat and research suggestions over time, and you can delete individual memories at any point.
