Team billing

Shared billing for organizations, Business plan pricing and seats, credits in a team context, and subscription tasks owners handle.

Team billing

Organizations pair shared research with shared money: one place to pay, one balance to watch, and predictable packaging on the Business plan. This page explains the model, what $200/month includes, how credits work for teams, and who can subscribe or cancel.

Shared billing model

Teammates draw from the same balance instead of each filing expenses separately. That makes forecasting easier and avoids "who ran the expensive thread?" turning into a spreadsheet problem.

  • Top-ups and plan charges apply at the organization level (for Business).
  • Usage from team research reduces the org's available credits.

Your personal account may still have its own balance for personal workspace work — only org workspace runs hit the org pool.

Business plan details

The Business plan is built for small teams that want shared spend and seats:

AttributeDetail
Price$200/month
SeatsUp to 10 members per organization
CreditsIncludes $200 in credits per month (in the product's standard credit terms)

The plan bundles predictable monthly credits with enough seats for a focused research group — product copy in the app remains the source of truth if numbers change.

Seat limit: Organizations on this plan are capped at 10 seats. Need more? Contact Parallect or watch for enterprise options.

Credits in team context

Credits on the Business plan accrue in the organization's context:

  • Team runs consume org credits first (when operating in the org workspace).
  • Monthly included credits reset or accumulate according to the rules shown in your billing UI — check the org billing page for the live policy.

If the balance is low, research may pause or prompt a top-up — same idea as personal prepaid use, but the whole team sees the same meter.

Subscription management (owner only)

Owners — and only owners — can:

  • Create or upgrade to the Business subscription for the org.
  • Cancel or change subscription settings where the product allows.

Members can use resources but typically cannot bind the org to new charges or cancel plans. If you're handing off ownership, transfer owner role first so billing responsibility moves cleanly.
